It was quite cloak and dagger, because I couldn’t talk to Dan the first time I met him, as the old bass player was still there and was a bit sensitive. So it was me, Woody, Dan and this other guy. I ended up just being with Dan’s mum and sister. I had to really work my charms. When I left I remember literally doing the call me hand sign to Dan, and winked when I walked out.
